Everything between your origin and the browser: caching, routing, compression and certificate management, handled at the edge.
Objects are stored at the point of presence closest to the request. Cache lifetime follows your origin headers by default; per-path overrides let you keep static assets for weeks while leaving API responses uncached. Purges reach every location within a few seconds.
Requests are directed by anycast to the nearest healthy location. Path quality is measured continuously, and traffic shifts away from a degrading route without waiting on DNS records to expire.
Text responses are compressed on the fly. Images can be resized and re-encoded at the edge, so the origin stores one master file and every device receives a variant that fits it.
Certificates are issued and renewed automatically for every zone. TLS 1.2 and 1.3 are enabled, older versions refused, and HTTP requests are redirected to HTTPS by default.
Request logs are available for 14 days, with per-zone breakdowns by status code, cache outcome and region. Logs are truncated to the network prefix before storage — see the privacy policy.
Setup takes under ten minutes for most origins. The steps are in the documentation; current component health is on the status page.
